Composed for Andreas Mniestris’ Emeritus concert in Corfu, stereo 1’30

This piece was made after being invited to compose a short work for the concert celebrating Andreas Mniestris’s career at the Ionian University in Corfu, a long-standing partner of our research centre and one often visited. In fact, shortly prior to composing this our family obtained a villa nearby bringing us closer to our Corfiot friends.

The piece contains samples of his compositions and improvisations on his sax including extended techniques. The text in Greek and English are spoken by respective female Google Translate voices.
