Nothing Can Go Wrong (1992)

“For a musician, sound diffuser and too much apparatus” – ca. 7 mins.

There was one a horror movie (title forgotten by the composer) in which a futuristic machine is telling its users how good it was and that ‘nothing could go wrong … go wrong … go wrong …’. This memory inspired this piece that was originally composed for the duo, La Zététique which consisted of Jos Zwaanenburg and this composer and was subsequently also integrated into Idée Fixe’s first work, A Day in the Life. The score below speaks of ‘following score’ which is to be devised by those involved.
